WHISPER UNIVERSE is a choice-based GUESS, COMPARE and QUIZ service. This page follows the data the current product actually stores, including answers, results and product analytics.
When you create a challenge, the service stores the content ID, your five selected answer items, your #1 answer, a hashed session identifier, source and creation time. When a friend submits a guess, it stores the challenge ID, their five guesses and #1 guess, match count, whether #1 was correct, a hashed session identifier, source and creation time.
When you create a comparison link, the service stores the content ID, your selected answers, a hashed session identifier, source and creation time. When a friend responds, it stores the invite ID, their selected answers, the number of matching answers, a hashed session identifier, source and creation time.
Content analytics are not limited to aggregate counters. Individual event rows can record the event name, engine, content ID, hashed session identifier, source, creation time and locale. Cloudflare Web Analytics is also used to understand site traffic and performance.
Creator answers for GUESS and COMPARE are stored on the server, but they are designed not to appear in the public fetch response, static HTML or OG metadata before the friend submits their own answers. A shared link still gives anyone who has it a path into that challenge or comparison, so posting it publicly can invite people you did not intend to include.
You do not need to sign in or create a public profile to play the current GUESS, COMPARE or QUIZ experiences. The product rows described above do not include fields for a name or email address, and session identifiers are stored as hashes. Infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare may still process technical request information under their own policies to deliver and protect the site and API.
The current GUESS, COMPARE and content-analytics schemas do not define one shared rule that automatically deletes every record after a fixed period. We therefore do not promise a deletion window that the product does not currently enforce. If retention or deletion behavior changes, this page should change with it.
Before sharing a GUESS or COMPARE link, remember that the recipient can take part in that challenge and can see the resulting comparison or reveal after submitting.
