Privacy overview

Designed without public identities.

Whisper Universe does not require a public account, profile, follower list, or display name. This page explains the information needed to run the experience and the choices visitors should understand before posting.

Information submitted to the service

When you launch an object, the service stores the whisper text, object type, color choice, creation and expiration times, and internal identifiers needed to display and manage the active object.

No public account is required

The public experience does not ask for a name, username, profile, or public email address. Avoid placing identifying information inside the whisper itself because other visitors may be able to open active objects in the shared universe.

Local ownership and recovery capability

The browser may store a private capability locally so the same browser can recover, locate, or delete its own active object. It is not a public profile. Clearing site data, switching browsers, or changing devices may remove access to those ownership controls.

Abuse protection and security

Cloudflare infrastructure delivers the site and API. Cloudflare Turnstile helps distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse, and rate limits help prevent repeated submissions and reports.

Aggregate analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. These measurements help identify whether visitors can reach and use the experience successfully.

Retention and moderation

Active whispers are designed to expire after 24 hours and may be hidden or removed earlier after reports, moderation, or owner deletion. Operational records may be retained as needed for integrity, moderation, security, and cumulative service statistics.

Do not submit sensitive personal information. Anonymous presentation does not make content risk-free, and no internet service can promise absolute secrecy or uninterrupted availability.
